Responsible for the development & execution of the Chamber & Association strategy and creating/maintaining the sponsored plan roadmap in partnership with stakeholders throughout the organization. This role will identify and lead initiatives to drive membership growth, improve agent relationships, and communicate the Value of Blue with our chamber and association partners.
- Develop & execute Chamber & Association strategy and create the sponsored plan roadmap in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Agent Engagement and other stakeholders.
- Serve as the voice of chambers and associations internally to align enterprise strategies and execute on the vision.
- Identify, maintain and communicate metrics to support KPIs for chamber and association membership performance.
- Inform and execute the chamber and association communication strategy in partnership with Marketing, Sales, Agent Engagement and other stakeholders.
- Support stakeholders in business operations that impact chambers and associations - including membership and billing, quoting, sales enablement and self-service tools.
- Partner with sales, agent engagement, and both internal/external stakeholders to drive strategic integration and attendance at sponsored plan events with the focus on growing membership and new business opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in related field.
- Previous experience working in insurance industry, large corporation, or chamber/association preferred
- Excellent analytical, decision making, organizational, planning, creative problem solving, and verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
- Ability to identify and advocate for improvements to the chambers and association experience with stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Experience successfully building and getting approval for business cases to support new initiatives.
- Ability to lead multiple projects and work with internal and external clients to identify needs and develop solutions.
- Ability to develop, track and report out on performance measurements.
- Advanced oral communication skills.
- Technical proficiencies in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Extensive experience in strategic roadmap development and management.
- Ability to partner effectively with other teams across the enterprise, building alignment and support when necessary.
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate concisely and clearly across a range of channel/communication tools (e.g. documents, newsletters, CRM, calls, meetings, presentations) with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to develop a comprehensive departmental communication strategy and inform overarching division communication strategy.
- Inform development and lead execution of communication/marketing plan - including identification, analysis, and compilation of content to be communicated to the chamber/association community.
- Ability to articulate BCBSM's value story, services, products, and solutions in a clear and compelling manner including how products and services can contribute to agency success.
- Acts as a liaison between chambers and associations and BCBSM.
- Capacity to understand and clearly communicate the complexity of healthcare and clinical, utilization, and financial data.
- Ability to effectively collaborate across teams/stakeholders in the organization.
