Job Summary
The Manager – Client Technical Services is responsible for leadership of the company’s enterprise client related systems. It will include oversight of the daily up-keep and administration of the company’s client related hardware, software and related services, including cloud presence. This position will also be responsible for the technical management of the company’s client related infrastructures.
This position is responsible for ensuring that our service delivery exceeds documented service level agreements with business colleagues. The incumbent is accountable for all problems, change configuration and release management activities for his/her area of responsibility. This position will support and aid in executing the technical planning and architectural leadership provided by F&G technical architect(s). Ability to conceptualize, plan and deploy technology in a strategic and/or tactical manner is required. This position delivers services using both internal and external resources.
The incumbent will work closely with subject matter experts from technical and business teams to support technical solutions in supporting the client related functions of the enterprise. He/she will have a staff that supports internal client technical software and systems, including client technical analysts and support technicians as well as the responsibility to manage various technology consultants and contract resources simultaneously.
This position will be expected to demonstrate leadership and help develop his/her analysts as necessary. Solid communication and problem-solving skills are required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of agreed technology and client technology services within an approved budget and via a team based, customer centric approach
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technology to develop and implement solutions in complex enterprise environments
- Evaluate and recommend new technological systems and vendor products to develop system solutions that match or pre-empt business requirements as well as managing selected vendor relationships as required
- Capacity and performance planning, measuring and monitoring and reporting
- Ensure effective communication and interaction with key associates involved in service delivery
Experience and Education Requirements
- B.S. degree in management information systems, computer science or business with a concentration in systems or a minimum of seven years professional experience. Experience leading/managing within a successful IT organization in the financial services industry. Proven experience in managing IT client technology teams.
- Minimum of 7 years of client technology experience
- Experience with ITIL or comparable framework and processes

- Positive team-oriented focus with the ability to communicate IT goals and vision throughout organization in a clear and compelling manner
