Key Responsibilities:

The Manager - Co-Brands will lead a field sales team supporting United card acquisition employee channel. They will manage 4-5 individual contributors, located throughout United's network, that engage with customer facing employees including Flight attendants, club agents, and other airport employees to drive acquisition growth. They will engage with airport and Inflight leadership to develop a culture of credit across the departments. They will collaborate across all levels including agents up to VPs. This individual will also work with our bank card partner to ensure compliance and training requirements are followed and performed. They will collaborate with marketing to build training modules for agents and marketing collateral that support the program. They will track results and extrapolate insights from reporting. To be successful in this role you will need to be a self-starter and take initiative to achieve growth objectives.

  • Lead a field sales team that engages with airport employees to drive card acquisitions. Including traveling to those locations to meet with team.
  • Partner with card bank partner and United teams to implement to compliance and training requirements.
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop training modules and marketing communications.
  • Travel to and partner with airport hub and lines station Point-of-Contacts.
  • Record results and derive insights from reporting.

This role is based at the Chicago O'Hare International Airport. This individual will work onsite 50% of the time and travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience
  • 3+ years' experience within similar job functions (Sales, Management, Training, Analytics, etc.)
  • 3+ years' experience in a supervisory role or leading project teams
  • Strong project management skills, ability to work with deadlines and manage complex matrixed projects
  • Ability to actively communicate results and recommendations to leadership
  • Knowledge of loyalty and/or marketing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • 5+ years' experience within similar job functions (Sales, Management, Training, Analytics, etc.)
  • 5+ years' experience in a supervisory role or leading project teams
