The Crown Is Yours
We are searching for a Communications Manager to join our growing team. In this position, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the consumer communications team while delivering on company objectives. You'll function as a supporting member of DraftKings' Communications Department, working across the team in a variety of areas.
What you'll do as a Communications Manager
  • Support the DraftKings Communications Department with a focus on media relations, award submissions, speaking engagements and executive social media management.
  • Build relationships with sports and entertainment media to garner a steady stream of timely company coverage.
  • Develop and draft communications-related materials including but not limited to press releases, briefing documents, media pitches, social copy, awards submissions and speaking engagement proposals.
  • Identify speaking engagement opportunities and develop holistic strategies.
  • Manage regional agencies and consultants.
  • Draft and deploy strategy for executive social handles.

What you'll bring
  • 5+ years of work experience in a communications role, ideally within the entertainment / media space.
  • Robust rolodex of media contacts with a focus in entertainment, lifestyle, pop culture.
  • Proficient on all social media platforms with a focus on LinkedIn, Instagram, and X.
  • Strong creative content development and writing skills.
  • Ability to follow the pace of entertainment and pop culture storylines, and availability to work at the pace of sports and entertainment.

We're a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000.00 - $150,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
