Job Description
We are UMG, the Universal Music Group. We are the world's leading music company. In everything we do, we are committed to artistry, innovation and entrepreneurship. We own and operate a broad array of businesses engaged in recorded music, music publishing, merchandising, and audiovisual content in more than 60 countries. We identify and develop recording artists and songwriters, and we produce, distribute and promote the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful music to delight and entertain fans around the world.
How we LEAD:
Merchandise and commerce are becoming part of the fabric of music culture. For artists, it's a way to develop and further articulate their brand. For fans, it's another pathway to connecting with an artist and the culture they represent.
Fame House, UMG's US eCommerce division, is looking for a Community & Content specialist to join our team. We believe that community is key to artist development, and we help deliver true direct-to-fan services to artists, with strategies rooted in 2 key areas; growing superfan audiences and delivering best-in-class creative content to feed those audiences. Our ideal candidate is passionate about community building and content strategy, and understands how the 2 areas can be utilized to create lasting relationships not only between fans & artists, but from fan-to-fan, cementing true superfandom.

- Community Strategy: You will work directly with artists and their teams to develop community strategies to grow and engage superfans through platforms such as Discord, as well as more traditional areas like email newsletters.
- Community Management: You will work within existing communities to oversee activity, engage with fans, and directly execute strategic campaigns within those communities in line with artist activity (i.e. album releases, touring, and more).
- Data & Analytics: You will work with our data team to develop, deliver, and present audits and analytic reports on artists' digital presences, helping showcase results and driving the narrative around everything that we do.
- Content / Creative: You will act as the liaison between the artist team and Fame House design team, crafting creative briefs to guide asset creation when requested by the artist, as well as actively providing fresh creative ideas and suggestions.
- Social Media: Develop and execute social media strategies with the goal of driving audience growth and driving traffic to D2C platforms during key moments in an artist's timeline.
