Job Title:

Manager, Connected Tools Engineering

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Manage a cross-discipline engineering team chartered to design, develop, test and document
• Connected Tools used by internal & external customers.
• Develop technology roadmaps with R&D group in support of business needs
• Engage with external suppliers, developers & consultants to meet the needs of projects
• Evaluate technical & business tradeoffs against business requirements as well as future roadmaps
• Develop training material & process documentation for software & control systems developers
• Develop communication, engagement & support plans for users of connected tools & services

Required Education:

• BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science

Preferred Education:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related

field

• Masters in Business Administration

Preferred Knowledge:

• 5-10 years of software engineering experience
• Experience in real-time embedded controls, IoT, or cloud development
• Experience with software version control & change management
• Experience with software quality processes & tools, such as CMMI, SPICE, Autosar
