ABOUT THE ROLE

The Content Localizations Manager is responsible for overseeing the content localization ecosystem for SCJ’s international marketing content. Optimizing the model based on local market needs, working closely with creative and media teams, and ensuring governance through ways of working are critical pillars to this role. At its core, this role supervises SCJ’s international content production and aims to evolve our progressive Unified Production Governance model [UPG]. In this role, you will have line of site to all creative produced centrally, but will focus on how that content is adapted and delivered around the world. You will work with our partners to bring on new capabilities, optimize existing partner relationships, and use technology and new methods of production to continuously boost our creative deliverables.

Inside SCJ, your organization plays an important role in enabling operation that champions innovation, collaboration, and flexibility on behalf of our brands. You will deliver leading capabilities that grant our local marketers the ability to localize, optimize, and grow across all current and future marketing touchpoints. In this role, you will sit within the Creative, Content, and Technology function and will touch all core consumer brands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and govern SCJ’s international content localization model and ecosystem to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and growth for our brands

  • Ensure the Unified Production Governance (UPG) model consistently addresses local marketers’ content needs, identifying areas for scalable solutions that provide hyper-local relevance

  • Meet regularly with local marketing teams and aggregate new localized content needs and/or gaps within the localization model

  • Bring on new localization production capabilities, optimize existing agency and partner models, and use data and technology to continuously boost quality and quantity of our creative deliverables

  • Maintain expertise in creative and platform best practices and ensure the localization partner ecosystem optimizes accordingly

  • Lead annual scoping for localization model

  • Own relationship with Content at Scale agency partner

  • Own relationship with in-region content strategists

  • Support Agency Operations and Media teams with local creative agency ways of working and media partnerships

  • Ensure localization partners comply with SCJ’s workflow and DAM systems as directed

  • Partner with CIBA (Consumer Insights and Business Analytics) to ensure all localized content is measured and optimized for creative effectiveness

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor Degree required and 7+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience with an advanced degree

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Demonstrated skills in managing complexity, providing strategic insight and executional excellence

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to complete a task

  • Content production experience (motion and still)

  • Experience working with/for creative advertising agencies

  • Strong digital content background, with superior knowledge of technological innovation within digital content production

  • Understanding of the media landscape and how narratives change based on consumer receptivity

  • Project management leadership skills

  • Organizational and communication skills with proven ability to work with stakeholders in other countries (non-US)

  • Proven leadership in setting strategic direction and innovation in solving marketing issues

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Office work environment Mon-Fri

  • Remote work available once a week for eligible employees

  • Up to 25% Travel

  • This role is eligible for domestic relocation
