Summary:

The ideal candidate will work as a part of the CHS Project Empower Team in partnership with our implementation partner to support the Oracle Cloud Implementation. The candidate should have a cross functional understanding of both technology and financial applications. From a technology perspective, ETL, understanding of SQL, data structures, security, data validation, and reconciliation experience is desired. Financial Application knowledge in Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, and Supply Chain are desired. Prior ERP and/ or Oracle implementation experience is preferred.

This role will lead the Conversion Team to ensure all conversion objects are in alignment with the Master Data Strategy prior to the actual conversion event(s). Candidates will maintain communication between the source system development team and functional leads to meet the necessary development timelines and support established data validation and reconciliation processes. Candidate will partner with implementation partner conversion lead to manage overall conversion lifecycle.

The candidate will approach each day as an opportunity to build trust, knowledge, and management presence with multiple teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will promote a 'the buck stops here' mentality that avoids blame, lack of ownership, or excuses. The ideal candidate will know when to escalate to leadership for help in clearing roadblocks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and ensure data conversion and master data strategy are followed.
  2. Works with the functional team to understand the data conversion requirements and enforce conversion procedures and data integrity standards.
  3. Manage conversion scope, design, build, and reconciliation processes and ensure any deviation from standard approaches are documented and approved as part of our change management standards.
  4. Ensures master data identification, quality, and cleansing of legacy system data is in accordance with project timelines and data standards.
  5. Ensures execution and proper documentation as per Audit requirements/ IT General controls.
  6. Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, data flows, transformations, and integration methodologies.
  7. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to ensure project dates and milestones are met.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:

  • Ability to work with multiple teams, tight timelines, and complex data to deliver results that meet project and business expectation.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a leadership role overseeing data integration, ETL, or data engineering teams
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data integration/conversion (e.g., C#, SQL, Python).
  • Ability to lead and influence internal and external resources, and direct reports if applicable.
  • Ability to convert data and related techniques to acquire data needed to support testing, training, and other project activities.
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems and evaluate data solutions
  • Strong analytical, communication, time-management, facilitation, presentation, influencing and project/portfolio management skills
  • Demonstrated discipline, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Independent, self-motivated, self-managing, proactive and responsive with a bias for action and results
  • High level of personal integrity consistent with the company's core values
  • Previous experience with ERP system and / or conversions of financial data (Human Capital/Payroll, Supply Chain, Finance)

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience working with Oracle financial products.
  • Previous experience working with Service Now
  • Previous experience working with Jira

Computer Skills Required:

Knowledge in Google Suite and Microsoft Work. Understanding of SQL tools, preferably DBEAVER.
