This position provides planning, design, implementation, and operations support for M's corporate shared technology services and cloud applications in Portland, OR. Leads efforts to ensure the network and server system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and all related implementation, maintenance and operations procedures comply with the organizational standards and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching for technology staff and foster a culture of accountability, innovation and team building.
  • Work with team members to develop and maintain documentation for enterprise systems.
  • Responsible for the planning, deployment, and administration of servers and applications.
  • Overseeing deployment of appropriate patches in support of Enterprise applications.
  • Maintain the integrity, security, and performance of servers and cloud systems through proactive monitoring and quick problem resolution.
  • Manage and support cloud environment and web infrastructure.
  • Perform infrastructure monitoring (setting up alerts and responding to events).
  • Remediate vulnerabilities found during weekly patch management program and third-party penetration tests.
  • Manage and implement storage solutions to include SAN, NAS, and Direct-Attached Storage.
  • Provides technical direction, technical project leadership, and project documentation.
  • Recommends infrastructure improvements to ensure system are designed to support business requirements.
  • Assist staff as needed on troubleshooting technical problems.
  • Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability.
  • Participate in the rotation for 24x7 on call support.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications and websites, establishing networks, participating in professional organizations.
  • Work with various team members, departments, vendors, and services providers to ensure a productive work environment.
  • Provide network and systems consultation to Member Firms as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Business or computer related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years' progressively responsible related experience in administering local and wide area networks, Windows server administration, VoIP systems, VMWare cluster administration, and Okta identity management experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' managing and leading technology professionals.
  • Experience with the following technology is a plus:

    • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager MECM
    • Okta Identity and Access Management
    • Microsoft Exchange Online
    • Microsoft 365 security and advanced threat protection
    • Microsoft SharePoint 2013
    • Pure Storage
    • Commvault Backup
    • PowerShell scripting
    • VMWare
    • Zoom Conference/VoIP management

  • Hybrid work environment in Portland, OR offering a blend of virtual/work from home and onsite days designed to support flexibility
  • Normal office environment/desk assignment
  • Extensive use of PC's, computer terminal, display, keyboard, and mouse
  • Extensive hands-on work with documents, spreadsheets, and other written documents
