Job Title: Manager, Curriculum Development

Locations: Remote

Reports to: Sr Manager, Learning Services


A quick snapshot…

The Manager, Curriculum Development is responsible for the timely delivery of new courses that support Conga’s new product line. You are laser focused ensuring that the new set of courses reflect Conga’s position as a market leader. You will help curriculum developers to sync with product management, professional services, and any SMEs to ensure content is technically correct and engaging for our customers, partners and internal constituents. You are accountable for the instructor-led courses and to work with curriculum designers to ensure that a blended learning approach takes into account the customer experience, revenue impact and what modality the content lends itself to. During the analysis/design phase, you will identify and develop any multi-media animations to elevate the student experience. Along with your team, you are constantly working with the instructors, so they are confident with the content and have provided feedback. From ensuring that courses are developed according to engineering release map, to delivering assets to enhance student experience and reporting on progress. You will also be able to attend prospect calls, position the value of training, and help in the operational tasks of closing education sales.

This is a key role responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of instructor-led and multi-media educational materials and curriculum content for customers, partners, and internal employees. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, engaging, and effective learning experiences across various platforms, including instructor-led, online courses, interactive modules, and more. The Manager, Curriculum Development will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, subject matter experts, instructors, to ensure the creation of compelling and technically correct educational content. Conga’s new product line will shift the company’s ability to support customers regardless of their CRM. Training customers on our new product will be an integral part of launching our new product line and influence our customers' perception. Training will help customers; partners and the market with how to use our new platform and validate Conga’s position as a market leader in the Revenue Life Cycle.


Are you the person we’re looking for?  

Curriculum Development. 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development and/or multimedia content creation, at a software company. Proven experience leading the design, development, and enhancement of curriculum materials that align with educational objectives and standards. Fostering team collaboration with subject matter experts and instructional designers to define learning goals, outcomes, and assessment strategies. Ensuring approval of content with product strategy, professional services, instructors, and other SMEs.

Project Management. 3-5 years in Project management skills with the ability to develop Asana or Smartsheet projects. Experience facilitating agile curriculum stand-ups. Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for curriculum projects. Coordinating with cross-functional teams and contractors to ensure project milestones are met.

Quality Delivery. Experience conducting regular quality checks on curriculum content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and adherence to instructional design principles. A passion for education and a commitment to creating engaging and effective learning experiences. Reviewing and evaluating feedback from learners, instructors, and stakeholders to make continuous improvements.

Management. Experience managing instructional designers at a software company. This position requires a working manager that can deliver multi-media assets, generate course content and contribute to deliverables while guiding the team.

Assessment and Analytics. Experience establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact and effectiveness of curriculum. Using analytics and data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improvements.

Sales Support. Experience speaking to customers, account executives and others to position the value of education offerings in a sales scenario. Collaboration with sales enablement and sales team for RFPs. Understanding the operational tasks for selling education and be able to work on any part of the motion to close education sales deals.

Related tools and software. Expert experience with Articulate & Docebo. Proven super user experience with Docebo. Development of Docebo landing pages and learning plans. Novice experience with Salesforce.


Here’s what will give you an edge…

Multimedia Content Creation. Experience Creating multimedia elements such as videos, animations, simulations, interactive modules, and other engaging content to support the curriculum. Verifying that multimedia elements are pedagogically sound, accessible, and aligned with curriculum goals. Experience with multimedia authoring tools, video editing software, and e-learning platforms.

Training and Support. Experience in Providing training and support to instructors and educators in effectively using curriculum materials and set standards. Troubleshoot technical issues related to multimedia content delivery. Knowledge of adult learning principles and learning theories. Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.

Education. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Multimedia, or a related field. Equivalent experience and portfolio considered in lieu of degree. Must be able to show a multi-media portfolio with examples pertaining to the technology field.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Clear, deliberate, and collaborative communication. Engaging in collaborative discussions initiated regularly with cross-functional teams. Clear and concise speaking and writing -- and even creativity in terms of ensuring messages are received and understood, leaving no room for assumptions or misunderstanding. It’s what sets you apart from the rest.

Compensation

In the spirit of the Conga Way, we strive to design easy-to-understand compensation programs that are fair and free from any type of discrimination. In keeping with this approach, we are committed to delivering competitive compensation and benefits packages to our colleagues worldwide and communicating transparently about the structure of our compensation programs.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $90,192 - $144,306. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance. 

The posted salary ranges are for the expectations outlined in the job description. We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust the role responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements. In these occasional cases, we will communicate the revised salary range to the candidate during the selection process.
