Position Summary
The Customer Data Manager will lead the Customer Master Data Management efforts with a focus on supporting digital transformation projects including Customer Zeal and ERP Retirement. They will be responsible for providing business direction for both B2C and B2B customers mastering and partnering closely with integration teams to ensure mastered data is accurately moved throughout the business. They will work closely with our Data Governance team and set the priority for governance and Data Quality activities.
Principle Responsibilities
- Serve as key liaison for Customer Data and OTC teams to ensure that roadmaps and priorities are aligned and OTC needs are accurately captured and executed from the Customer Data perspective.
- Work closely with OTC team to identify and prioritize attributes and source systems that need to be mastered.
- Ensure that Customer Data efforts are delivered on time and in the priority needed by the business.
- Define "fit for purpose" standards for each attribute and work with various departments to ensure data is entered to meet these standards.
- Create durable processes to ensure that data standards are met throughout the data lifecycle.
- Create a data-first culture and work with key stakeholders at headquarters and in the field to ensure best practices are met at all points of customer data entry including update process.
- Determine what success looks like, develop KPIs and create reporting strategy for the health of Customer Data attributes to support digital transformation efforts.
- Work closely with IT to determine durable error tracking and process for data remediation should errors occur.
- Collaborate with the Data Governance team to ensure customer data accessibility across the enterprise.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years in the Environmental Solution or Waste industries preferred.
- 5 years building and/or managing digital products including planning, developing, executing and measuring outcomes.
- Experience creating a data-first culture that led to improvements in data quality.
- Cross-functional leadership with ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus in a matrixed organization structure.
- Process-oriented, mindset of continual improvement; real passion for ingesting and analyzing data, documenting processes with the intent of driving progressive improvements and significant innovation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing or related fields or work equivalency.
- 3+ years experience with technology and data platforms including Master Data Management systems, Data Quality tools and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
