POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager, Customer Data - Personalization will identify and support the data needs to power personalization across an omni-channel customer journey as defined by the Demand Generation and Digital Marketing teams. Personalization efforts will include identity resolution, programmatic decision making (Next-Best-Offers), ad targeting/re-targeting, portal segmentation and dynamic content. As part of the larger Customer Data team, they will own the process for collecting, monitoring and maintaining data for individuals that Republic Services does business with for B2B and B2C lines of business.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as key liaison for Demand Generation and Digital Marketing teams to ensure that roadmaps and priorities are aligned and accurately captured and executed from the Customer Data perspective.
- Work closely with Digital Marketing and Demand Generations teams to identify and prioritize attributes and source systems that need to be mastered to accurately create and build customer segments manually and programmatically.
- SME for marketing attributes and MarTech stack to support identity resolution across web, CRM, notifications, eCommerce and self-service.
- Works as Product Owner to set the priority and launch data products that support personalized experiences.
- Collaborate with Demand Generation and Digital Marketing teams to determine what success looks like for personalization efforts and create KPIs and manage ongoing measurement.
- Owns the Contact management program including change management, quality reporting and validation efforts.
- Collaborate with the Data Governance team to ensure customer data accessibility across the enterprise.
- Create a data-first culture and work with key stakeholders in eCommerce, Digital Self-Service, Digital Analytics, Demand Generation and CRM to ensure best practices are met at all points of customer data entry including update processes.
- Manages identity enrichment by creating new first-party data capture methods and identifying 3rd party enrichment sources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years in the Environmental Solution or Waste industries preferred.
- 5 years building and/or managing digital products including planning, developing, executing and measuring outcomes.
- Experience creating a data-first culture that led to improvements in data quality.
- Cross-functional leadership with ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus in a matrixed organization structure.
- Process-oriented, mindset of continual improvement; real passion for ingesting and analyzing data, documenting processes with the intent of driving progressive improvements and significant innovation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing or related fields or work equivalency.
- 5+ years building and managing digital products including planning, developing, executing and measuring outcomes.
