About The Position- Hybrid

The Manager, Data Analytics, is responsible for leading a team of professionals to successfully define and solve important business problems in collaboration with business leaders. This position requires direct interaction with senior executives and directors to help identify important business problems, determine priorities, select the most appropriate approach to solving problems, assign resources and facilitate successful problem resolution.

Key responsibilities include:β€’ Managing and directing a team of 4 professionals, supporting Customer Operations overall annual budget of approximately $475M, 1.2M customers, and 1,648 FTEs. Team will also support other Missouri functions (Generation, Callaway, MO total) as needed.β€’ Creating and administering a set processes and procedures utilized to perform work within the department. This includes establishing a Quality Assurance (QA) program to ensure high quality results are delivered to the department's clienteleβ€’ Collaborate with leadership to identify highest value projects to execute that support the achievement of strategic business goals. Develop project timelines, communication with customers, and cascade top priority projects to team members to meet project deliverables and customer expectations.β€’ Providing career counseling and mentoring to team members.β€’ Leading project teams, analytics strategy development, data governance working group leadership, and other assignments as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering, mathematics, statistics, analytics) required. Advanced degree in a technical discipline such as finance/economics or business management preferred. Five or more years progressively responsible work experience, including prioritizing and managing data analytics projects to a successful conclusion (required). Two or more years of supervisory or team/project leadership required. Candidates with experience working in technical disciplines in the utilities industry preferred

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

A high degree of business and analytics acumen. The successful candidate must be familiar with finance/economics, regulations, technical marketing and research methodologies, descriptive statistics, predictive modeling and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean.
