Job Duties

Create correlation models for customer behavior variables to predict customer retention probability. Provide analysis and insight to Fivetran’s leadership and clearly present how insights are supported by data. Analyze historic data and build mathematical/statistical models to predict the probability of annual recurring revenue effects of various pricing models. Predict the effects of independent variables on dependent variables (e.g., how does increasing the Company’s price affect/lower customer retention). Perform statistical analysis to quantify the significance of specific changes to Fivetran’s products and provide data-driven interpretation, insight, and guidance to Fivetran’s leadership. Perform analyses on various metrics and data for Fivetran’s internal and personnel teams, especially on issues such as professional employee retention and attrition (both voluntary and nonvoluntary) and recruiting metrics, including diversity, across various departments and functional teams. Own the development, optimization, upgrading, and ongoing performance of statistical data models and dashboards that run on top of Fivetran’s standardize schemas (the structure and organization of the databases). Improve data infrastructure and dashboard performance to establish, validate, and optimize standardized data schemas. Improve Fivetran documentation, blog, and customer support material by voicing the data and statistical analyst perspective. Provide sample analyses and SQL (Structured Query Language) queries to showcase the functionality of Fivetran’s schemas and Entity Relationship Diagrams. Supervise 3 Data Analysts to analyze data and build mathematical/statistical models. Employee may work from home and can be based anywhere in the U.S. Travel approx. 3% of the time to Fivetran’s headquarters for meetings and training. May telecommute.

Job Requirements

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Data Analytics, Statistics, or related and 12 months of experience in an occupation related to Data and Statistics Analysis. Experience must include 12 months in/with the following: Mathematical Modeling; Quantitative Analysis; Predictive Modeling; Statistics and Regression Analytics; Data Transformation; and Data Warehousing

Alternatively, in lieu of the Bachelor's degree and 12 months of experience in an occupation related to Data and Statistics Analysis, employer will accept 36 months of experience in an occupation related to Data and Statistics Analysis. The 36 months of experience must include the following: Mathematical Modeling; Quantitative Analysis; Predictive Modeling; Statistics and Regression Analytics; Data Transformation; and Data Warehousing. Regression Analytics; Data Transformation; and Data Warehousing.
