Manager - Data Engineering

The Manager of Data Engineering will lead a team responsible for designing building and maintaining scalable data infrastructure and pipelines. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability integrity and security enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of data engineers fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. - Design implement and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes to support business needs. - Collaborate with data scientists analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. - Ensure data quality governance and compliance with industry standards and best practices. - Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance data processing capabilities. Qualifications: - Proven experience in data engineering with a strong understanding of data architecture and ETL processes. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or Scala. - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark). - Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
