Manager - DEI Coordinator
Job Description
Golin is seeking a Manager - DEI Coordinator to join our Global Diversity Equity & Inclusion team.
Reporting to the SVP of DEI, you will work closely with DEI stakeholders, which includes: SVP of DEI; Group Director of DEI; DEI Employee Engagement DEI Operational leads; multiple ERG Chairs, Executive Sponsors & members; Global Local DEI councils, International Equity Task Force, and the leadership of the Social Impact & Inclusion practice.
This role will support various DEI initiatives across the organization, including Golin ERG monthly meetings and global ERG events, scheduling meetings for the Global Local DEI council quarterly meetings, assisting with planning and executing all-agency global DEI meetings, supporting DEI recruitment programs and DEI learning and development town halls and customized trainings.Â
We are looking for someone with a collaborative spirit, who has project management experience, can multi-task, is deadline driven, with excellent time management skills, is comfortable presenting to both internal and external stakeholders, and can dive into various projects and initiatives.
While we are looking for someone located in Chicago, we are also open to someone working remotely as well.

What You’ll Do:
- Work in lockstep with the SVP of DEI, who manages global DEI internal and external operations for our 50 international markets across Golin GroupÂ
- Collaborate weekly with various DEI leadership team and DEI stakeholders
- Manage the DEI data systems share drive and assist in the management of DEI ERG data systems and projects
- Schedule and maintain meeting cycles for ERG monthly meetings, and global ERG events
- Schedule and maintain meeting cycles for Global Local DEI council quarterly meetings, and help plan and execute meetings
- Help plan and execute bi-annual International Equity Task Force summits
- Assist with the planning and development of bi-annual all-agency global DEI meetings and quarterly global real-talk conversations
- Develop and design decks for DEI global meetings and events
- Develop and design flyers and brochures for various DEI eventsÂ
- Assist with the development of DEI communications to include policies, strategies, global comms, annual reports, measurement/metrics reports etc.
- Aid in the management, development and execution of DEI recruitment programs
- Aid in the development and execution of global and local DEI learning and development initiatives, town halls, and customized trainings
- Co-create the global DEI annual strategy
What You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience
- 3 years of related professional experience
- Project management experience, with the ability to own various initiatives, supporting scheduling of meetings and events, and planning and executing against outlined project plans
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- A collaborative style and a love for working with a variety of persons who exhibit diversity of thought and diversity of lived experiences
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft reports and materials
- Experience managing spreadsheets and multiples pieces of data
- Ability to develop and design PowerPoint decks, flyers, email newsletters, and DEI communications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator
- Familiarity with Canva and Premier Pro & other video editing software experience a plus
- Deadline driven, with the ability to multi-task and to work independently as needed
- Time and task management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing needs
- Highly organized, adaptable, and ability to be both agile and collaborative
- Confidence with the ability to be forward facing with various internal and external stakeholders and comfortability presenting to teams

Salary Range: $55,000 - $95,000
Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
