Job Title: DevOps Manager
Reports To: Director of Engineering
Summary:
The DevOps Manager is responsible for the overall strategy, planning, and execution of DevOps initiatives within the organization. This includes leading a team of DevOps engineers in the development, deployment, and operation of a cloud based multitenant SaaS platform. The DevOps Manager must have a deep understanding of DevOps principles and practices, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the organization's DevOps strategy
- Lead a team of DevOps engineers
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with team members
- Work with stakeholders to define and prioritize DevOps initiatives
- Monitor cloud spend and right-size infrastructure
- Develop and maintain DevOps processes and procedures
- Automate DevOps tasks and workflows
- Monitor and troubleshoot DevOps systems and applications
- Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps technologies and trends
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Experience with a AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins
- Experience leading and managing technical teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (eg: python, C#, java, etc)
