Job Title: DevOps Manager

Reports To: Director of Engineering

Summary:

The DevOps Manager is responsible for the overall strategy, planning, and execution of DevOps initiatives within the organization. This includes leading a team of DevOps engineers in the development, deployment, and operation of a cloud based multitenant SaaS platform. The DevOps Manager must have a deep understanding of DevOps principles and practices, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the organization's DevOps strategy
  • Lead a team of DevOps engineers
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with team members
  • Work with stakeholders to define and prioritize DevOps initiatives
  • Monitor cloud spend and right-size infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain DevOps processes and procedures
  • Automate DevOps tasks and workflows
  • Monitor and troubleshoot DevOps systems and applications
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps technologies and trends

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
  • Experience with a AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins
  • Experience leading and managing technical teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (eg: python, C#, java, etc)
