Summary
This position will be an integrated member of the US-based Corporate Communications function with the objective to enhance and defend the reputation and assets of Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. It is responsible for coordinating content production, inclusive of meeting with stakeholders, writing, facilitating approvals and publishing various content across Daiichi Sankyo's US digital channels; will work collaboratively with a variety of internal stakeholders to help develop and publish engaging content and will support management and measurement of digital content. This position will ensure all content aligns with the Daiichi Sankyo-US digital channel strategy and support the growth of the US corporate blog. This role will be an exceptional writer/editor with direct experience with social listening and social media advertising to increase channel growth with targeted external stakeholders. Must have a passion for the social media space and a comfort-level with operating and driving initiatives within complex, matrix organizations; must have technical knowledge of managing social media platforms and website content development. This position will be a part of the US Corporate Communications team and will report to the head of Digital & Product Communications.
Responsibilities
- Develop corporate social media posts and maintain social media presence, including community management and page moderation. Responsible for ensuring published content is relevant, compliant and supports the corporate reputation of Daiichi Sankyo.
- Collaborate productively with teams and individuals across businesses, and colleagues in peer functions, to advise, write, obtain approvals to execute strategic social media campaigns that align with key business objectives and corporate messaging.
- Manage the ongoing social media editorial calendar, oversee scheduling in our publishing platform and accountable for all key organic engagement metrics.
- Review and facilitate all incoming social media content from business partners, manage traffic flow - via a social media editorial calendar -- and oversee quality control of content prior to publication.
- Manage social media promotion and publishing of Corporate blog (Our Stories).
- Support publishing of news releases on DS.US
- Serve as primary liaison with IT for website content updates.
- Monitor internal social media request forms and processes for development, review and approval.
- Track KPIs and channel metrics for social media and website.
- Stay up to date with new and emerging social media methods and trends to leverage and offer recommendations of new initiatives to meet business goals.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
- Bachelor's Degree required
Experience Qualifications
- 4 or More Years Experience in corporate, digital content, social media or public relations that includes direct responsibility for social media (and/or website) content development and strategy support required
- 1 or More Years Experience in graphic design, social media analytics and video editing is highly preferred, 2+ years optimal required
- 1 or More Years Experience in a highly regulated industry such as finance, technology, healthcare/pharmaceuticals, as well as social media crisis management preferred
