Manager, Digital Marketing Strategy
Job Description
Job Summary:
The Manager, Digital Marketing Strategy will work closely with key players across Podcasting, Digital Sales and Sales Development to develop iHeartMedia's media strategy, industry thought leadership, and product marketing for iHeartMedia's Podcast and Digital opportunities - all with the goal of positioning iHeartMedia as the leading player in the podcast space.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital landscape and evolving podcasting space. We're looking for a digital expert that can determine and plan effective media strategies, efficiently leverage distribution tactics/products, integrate branded content techniques within programs, etc. Collaboration is key as they will be working with Go to Market, Sales, Packaging, Research, Creative Services and Product Teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategy for podcast sponsorship programs
- Work closely with go-to-market teams to create plans for key initiatives and priority programs
- Act as centralized resource to ensure all aspects of podcast and digital programs are tracking for a successful product rollout
- Lead the development of digital ideation and planning strategy for key RFPs
- Collaborate with cross function teams to create podcast solutions that compliment 360 programs including broadcast and events
- Use post-sale data to better inform our pre-sale efforts
Experience/Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years experience working within a digital planning or digital marketing function
- Minumum of 1 - 2 years of media agency experience
- Marketing experience in a digital environment is a plus
- Proven ability to effectively and efficiently tell marketing stories
- Expert at PowerPoint and Excel
- Self-motivating work ethic with the ability to multi-task and time manage effectively
- Creative problem solver that can quickly pinpoint client needs
