About the Role 

Zoro is seeking a Manager of Analytics & Insights to support how we measure evaluate and optimize the digital merchandising experience. This role will focus on analyzing performance across the customer funnel—from traffic and conversion to basket size—and translating data into actionable insights that improve the customer experience and drive business outcomes.

You’ll play a key role in enabling a data-driven test-and-learn culture by identifying trends surfacing opportunities and supporting decision-making. You’ll partner closely with teams across Merchandising Marketing Product and Analytics to ensure insights are clear actionable and aligned to business priorities.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze performance across Digital Merchandising including traffic conversion AOV and key business metrics
  • Contribute to KPI development reporting frameworks and measurement approaches
  • Monitor performance and proactively detect anomalies investigating root causes and summarizing findings
  • Identify and support sizing of opportunities to improve the customer experience and drive business impact
  • Support regular performance reviews by synthesizing trends tracking results against goals and contributing to reporting materials
  • Prepare inputs and analysis for executive reporting helping to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Conduct customer insight and journey analysis including:
    • Friction mapping to highlight areas of customer difficulty
    • Funnel analysis to identify drop-off points and performance trends
    • Experience gap identification across the shopping journey
    • Segment behavior analysis to uncover differences in how customers shop
    • Repeat purchase behavior and retention trend analysis
  • Partner with Merchandising to support test design and measurement including analyzing results and delivering clear readouts
  • Translate data into structured insights and actionable recommendations to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with Merchandising Marketing Product and Analytics teams to ensure alignment on data reporting and insights

What You Bring

  • 5–7 years of experience in analytics insights or a related field
  • Experience analyzing eCommerce or digital funnel performance (traffic conversion AOV etc.)
  • Ability to translate data into insights and actionable recommendations
  • Experience supporting performance reviews and reporting
  • Familiarity with experimentation and test-and-learn methodologies
  • Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools (e.g. SQL Tableau Looker etc.)
