Job Summary:
The Manager - Digital Supply Chain will play a pivotal role in the Global Supply Technologies team, within Blue Diamond's Information Technology organization. The role will focus on driving the digital transformation of our supply chain, optimizing existing solutions, and introducing new solutions that improve access to information, automate processes, and reduce non-value repetitive tasks while increasing Blue Diamond's Supply Chain efficiencies and resiliency. The Manager - Digital Supply Chain will be responsible for developing, implementing, and governing digital strategies, leveraging advanced technologies, and overseeing the end-to-end digital supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, visibility, and responsiveness.
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Analyze existing supply chain processes and systems to identify areas for improvements and automation.
- Implement best practices to enhance Supply Chain efficiencies.
- Partner with Supply Chain leadership to identify business requirements, determining and prioritizing technology solutions to best meet business needs.
- Collaborate with the organization's Supply Chain teams to define and execute the digital supply chain strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in digital supply chain management.
- Evaluate, select, and implement digital tools to optimize supply chain processes.
- Partner with Supply Chain & Information Technology teams to oversee the integration of systems for seamless data flow and visibility.
- Develop and implement data-driven approaches for monitoring and analyzing Supply Chain performance metrics.
- Generate actionable insights to drive informed decision-making and proactively address issues.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams (e.g., Integrated Planning, Customer Fulfillment, Transportation & Logistics, and Long-Range Planning & Analytics) and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of digital supply chain initiatives.
- Monitor and mitigate risks associated with digital Supply Chain processes, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Establish a culture of partnership, continuous learning, and innovation within Global Supply Technologies and Supply Chain teams.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar
- 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, with time spent focusing on digital transformation & technology integration.
- Transportation Management Systems
- Warehouse Management Systems
- RPA/Automation Technologies
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Experience working in a dynamic Supply Chain and/or Information Technology environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP's modules, including SAP core S4, IBP, TMS, etc.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing digital supply chain initiatives and driving process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of emerging technologies and their applications in supply chain management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Database knowledge and their use for visualization
- Proactive with the ability to anticipate situations and take charge.
- Curiosity and desire to learn.
- Ability to optimize or automate routine tasks.
- Takes accountability for performance improvements.
- Able to learn quickly.
- Able to run multiple, complex projects across business functions and locations.
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal & people management skills - both direct and indirect.
- Attention to detail.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment as needed with the ability to adhere to all safety and food safety standards
- Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs and safely move through active manufacturing facilities
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Office work - including prolonged periods of sitting or standing in an office environment.
- Facility work - able to safely work in a manufacturing environment which may include frequent changes in temperature, noise, and other environmental factors
- Remote - eligible for hybrid work
