The Manager, Early Talent Growth Programs will lead the development and future planning of Early Talent Leadership Development Programs, including looking for areas of opportunity to strengthen and more consistently scale current programs. This critical role will ensure that there is a seamless and cohesive roadmap for converting interns and leadership development program candidates into full-time hires across our ET Leadership Programs. Candidate must have demonstrated experience in building early talent development rotational leadership programs. Additionally, candidate requires excellent organizational, data analysis, project management skills, learning agility, ability to work in ambiguity, and the ability to work in fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
This role provides flexibility to work remotely in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shadows Early Talent Program Specialists to understand current state of Manufacturing-related and Engineering-related, as well as other rotational leadership programs
- Builds/maintains close relationship/partnership with the business/function to understand the capabilities required to build an appropriate talent pipeline to support business goals and growth.
- Evaluates opportunities, creates and leads the future strategy for the rotational leadership programs
- Serves as a subject matter expert on strategy, development, and execution of all rotational leadership programs for early talent; socializes and gains buy-in of key senior leaders and stakeholders, including required investments
- Identifies, plans, and institutes new early talent processes, workflows, and communications cadences to support all rotational leadership programs in the future
- Works closely with Early Talent Current Programs and Engagement Manager to drive full cycle planning of campus programming and initiatives to cultivate interest in BD, especially for our rotational development and internship programs, ensuring inclusion and diversity initiatives are embedded into the strategy; including alignment on identified target schools
- Develops strategy for new approach to Early Talent candidate care
Experience and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience building and managing early talent rotational leadership development programs required
- Experience managing early talent rotational leadership development programs in a manufacturing space
- High-level of critical thinking and strategic mindset required; can adapt and pivot, as necessary
- Excels at developing relationships throughout the organization; building networks and ability to liaise with stakeholders at various levels of management, including engaging with senior leaders.
- BA/BS degree in human resources or related field, preferred, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience in leading internship, university, early career, or employee-related program; previous experience within a large global company preferred.
- Experience in building new early talent programs from the ground up, inclusive of stakeholder buy in and investment garnering
- Needs a high degree of initiative, autonomy, and ability to collaborate in a virtual team environment while meeting objectives.
- Strong ability to focus, prioritize, and deliver multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment, highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly to new challenges, projects, and systems/ tools that are used by the team.
- Growth mindset with demonstrated commitment to learning & development of self and others, as well as open to feedback
- Ability to collect, analyze and present data.
