The Team:

XDB Platform team is a part of R&D organization. We are multidisciplinary team committed to deliver innovative technologies related to Electron & Ion Beam Microscopy. We design and deliver building blocks for complex solutions applied in Material Sciences, Life Sciences and Semiconductor business.

The Position:

As an R&D manager you lead development and delivery of specific modules, co-architect product roadmaps, and ensure growing competency in subsystems design.

Key responsibilities:

You manage the development of modules such as microscope columns, motion systems, acquisition boards, and detectors.

You lead the group of designers through the whole lifecycle of product development.

We work in multi-functional teams. Effective collaboration includes applications engineering, manufacturing, and field service.

You provide technical and management leadership and mentorship.

Partnership with project managers and business representatives is key to our success.

You contribute to technology roadmaps, annual operation plans, and process improvements.

You ensure team grow and promote innovation.

Requirements:

• University Degree in related technical field required.
• Proven experience working on R&D projects in a multi-disciplinary project organization.
• Advanced technical knowledge & conceptual thinking.
• Good skills in persuading, encouraging developing and motivating are required to interact with other people.
• The ability to set and create the right working climate is important because a substantial part of the work is achieved through others.
• Respecting contributions of others, ability to adopt alternative solutions if it is better.
• Ability to acquire valid passport and travel internationally as required.
• Proficient in English language.
