Manage, design and execute emerging technology use cases to accelerate progress towards an enterprise vision for a fortune 200 company with some of the most iconic brands! We are currently seeking a Manager, Emerging Technology & Innovation to join our Digital & Technology team in Richmond, VA, or we are open to remote work arrangements.

What you'll be doing:• Consult with internal key stakeholders to understand current and future business needs related to AI, security or sustainable tech trends and technology, using design thinking methodology to develop proof of concepts Includes handoff to business function at end of proof of concept.• Analyze current and future AI, security or sustainable tech trends and capabilities to identify areas of opportunity, or to activate upon specific business initiatives.• Manage and execute emerging technology and innovation objectives, roadmap and KPIs• Develop strategic partnerships, relationships, and alliances.

What we want you to have: • Bachelor's Degree and six years' experience OR Master's Degree and four years' experience in digital transformations, design thinking, AI, Cybersecurity or Sustainable Technology.• Extensive network of suppliers, developers, and early stage companies.• Strong sense of curiosity and passion to learn, self starter, comfortable working in an evolving and changing 'white space' environment• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively across functions, inclusive of strong communication skills (written and oral)• Capable of critical thinking as well as successfully leading implementation of ideas through proof of concept• Technology generalist with the ability to deep dive as needed, ability to scan and understand emerging technology trends and potential business areas of focus• Knowledge and experience of innovation approaches, activities (i.e. hackathon challenges) and experimental processes• Balance of enthusiasm and realism in communicating new ideas
