About the team & opportunity
Ontra is seeking a Manager, Employee Experience to join our growing People team!
This role is a great opportunity to lead the end-to-end execution of our employee experience strategy, collaborating with a variety of cross-functional teams to design, plan, and execute programs and activities that promote a positive and inclusive work culture. In collaboration with two direct reports, the Manager, Employee Experience will support all Ontra gatherings, including in-person and virtual events, as well as manage Ontra's workplace strategy and own internal communications.

What you'll do
- Event Management : Support and improve Ontra's gatherings, inclusive of in-person gatherings, virtual events, Ontra's company-wide meetings, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Employee Resource Group (ERG) events
- Workplace Strategy: Manage Ontra's working spaces, whether in office or at home, with thoughtful oversight and in ways that support our overall flexible workplace strategy
- Data Collection : Have a consistent pulse on employee sentiment by conducting regular assessments and surveys to identify areas of strength and improvement, and implement action plans accordingly
- Employee Experience : Collaborate with partners on the People team to ensure that employees are being adequately supported via our Employee Journey Map through the lens of employee experiences
- Internal Communication : Support and drive Ontra's internal communication strategy
What you'll bring
- Experience : 7+ years in an employee experience, employee engagement, or a similar role; proven track record of driving impactful employee experience initiatives in a growing organization
- People Management: 2+ years managing full-time employees, preferably in a remote, distributed environment; ability to hire and build out high-performing teams
- Event Planning : Familiar with planning corporate events of all sizes, both in-person and virtual, including managing budgets, putting together RFPs, and ensuring attendees have a seamless experience
- Strong Communicator: You can express yourself clearly and professionally across a variety of mediums, including Slack, Zoom, email, and in-person, and are known for your stellar writing, editing, and presenting skills
- Interpersonal Skills : Easily builds relationships and can influence stakeholders at all levels
- Self-Starter: Able to work autonomously and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Highly Organized : Can juggle multiple, complex projects simultaneously
