As Manager, Employee Relations, you will conduct thorough data analyses, help design and refine metrics for measuring and validating program performance and generate recommendations that interpret historical results and guide future decision making. You will be responsible for identifying potential compliance violations by conducting internal investigations regarding employee relations complaints, legal issues, compliance violations, dishonesty, and other possible wrongdoing. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Manage investigative intake, which includes assessing reports from multiple platforms, analyzing the potential risk impact, and creating cases for investigation in the company case management system
  • Ensure practices are compliant and in accordance with company policy. Conduct thorough data analysis, help design and refine metrics for measuring and validating compliance program performance.
  • Engage site leadership throughout the life cycle of an investigation to ensure assurance with program requirements.
  • Create comprehensive investigative reports, presentations, maps, and/or charts in an efficient manner to be easily digested by stakeholders, executives and site leadership
  • Participate in corporate governance forums and provide feedback on programs and processes.
  • Support Investigative Program initiatives and perform other duties as assigned
  • Lead complex compliance and employee relations investigations; effectively summarize findings and mitigation opportunities in written reports
  • Serve as the HR liaison to investigation stakeholders including Human Resources, Internal Audit, Safety, Security and Digital Forensics
  • Work directly with business partners and associated stakeholders to continuously enhance the investigative process
  • Deliver investigative and compliance training as needed

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • General HR experience with solving problems through employee advocacy
  • 5 years of employment compliance and employee relations investigative experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Employment compliance and/or employee relations investigative experience
  • Previous experience investigating allegations of workplace harassment, discrimination and retaliation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience presenting concise and organized analyses with detailed explanations regarding findings appropriate for the intended audience
  • Self-motivated work style; able to work well with minimal supervision and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with data protection laws and the coordination of data protection requirements throughout the investigative process
  • Experience with human resource management systems and compliance-related software solutions
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess information and apply critical thinking to support the investigative process
