Position Overview

The Manager, Enablement Projects leads a team that will collaborate across Supply Chain, Operations, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and other critical business partners to develop and execute project plans utilizing industry leading supply chain practices, continuous improvement, and project management methodologies. This role will oversee a team that manages a portfolio of strategic projects and/or represent Supply Chain interest as part of cross organizational projects. In addition, assist in project prioritization and internal resource allocation of cross functional efforts that assist in the evolution of the Supply Chain organization. This role will perform ongoing project reporting, project risk identification, issue monitoring and highlight mitigation steps to ensure projects are completed on time and to the needs of the business' objectives. The Manager of Enablement Projects will provide guidance to their team and cross functional partners to ensure successful project outcomes.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • For processes owned by Supply Chain, this role will serve in a project management and Subject Matter Expert capacity to support key Supply Chain objectives, as needed.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across Supply Chain to ensure readiness plans are defined, assigned, appropriate Supply Chain teams involved and tracked in support of program/project launch timelines.
  • Create, maintain, and support the maintenance of detailed project metrics around goals and communicate progress to key stakeholders.
  • Execute targeted audits and report findings for prioritized continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support projects such as FSS, supplier diversity, supplier due diligence, supplier compliance, and others that support the overall business goals and ability to do business.
  • Assist in Supply Chain project prioritization and resource allocation to maximize efficiencies and consideration with cross project dependencies.
  • Triage and assign resources to lead special project requests.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the growing business needs with global SAP implementation, including process and system design, integration testing, validation, and post go-live support.
  • Support and represent Supply Chain on systems integration projects related to contract management software, Quality Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, compliance management systems and others that require/support supplier lifecycle data.
  • Manage the supply chain team's participation in the various on-going integration, SAP and other Supply Chain activities/projects and provide feedback and summaries of progress, risks, and timelines to leadership.
  • Accountable to coordinate meetings across Supply Chain, creating materials for monthly and quarterly reviews.
  • Establish and oversee the catalog and punchout purchasing processes, controls, and integration needs.
  • Supervises staff; including, but not limited to, organize, and prioritize work, write/conduct performance reviews, train/develop, and manage work performance.
  • Communicates goals clearly to employees to ensure understanding and success in achieving them.

  • Ability to work set a working schedule that allows for flexibility that is hybrid in nature, working 3+ days a week in an office location.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.
  • Ability to use a telephone through a headset.
  • Ability to work seated for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability and means to travel 5% between Exact Sciences locations and supplier locations which may include overnights and weekend travel.
  • Ability and means to travel 5% between Exact Sciences location Madison locations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or a field related to the essential duties of this role.
  • 8+ years of professional industry related work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP or other ERP system.
  • 2+ years experience in direct or indirect leadership
  • 2+ years experience with Learning management systems (LMS), training software or leading the design of training materials.
  • 2+ years experience in program or project management or other duties that reflect similar methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPSM or professional procurement certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certifications.
  • Project Management Professional certification.
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile or other quality management systems.
  • Experience with contract management systems such as Conga, Merrill DataSite, or DocuSign.
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization platforms.
