Who You Are:

Supergoop! is seeking a passionate ERP Product & BI Data Manager to join the Information Technology team as a Manager, Enterprise Resources & Data. Combining your strong technical and business background and enthusiasm for using data to drive business impact, you will play a key role in elevating the company’s Data IQ to drive business value. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, you will collaborate with business teams to build robust data models that are integrated within business processes / products and support the maintenance of information within our data warehouse and ERP systems, operating at the intersection of data engineering and ERP solutions, translating business requirements into scalable data models. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Translate business needs into technical designs and data models
  • Develop and maintain data models and schemas to support the organization's data analytics needs
  • Collaborate with various business and technology teams across the firm to gather business requirements, define analytics outcomes, and build a technical roadmap
  • Engineering: build robust and scalable data pipelines by ingesting a wide variety of structured and unstructured datasets
  • Documentation: develop and maintain documentation on data systems/architecture, data catalog; as well as detailed documentation of ERP system configuration, workflows, and user procedures.
  • Lead configuration, and maintenance of the ERP system to support business processes, including sales, inventory management, production, and finance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements to optimize the data warehouse and ERP.
  • Provide end-user training and support, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of the ERP system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integrations and ERP-related issues in a timely manner, working closely with IT support teams and external vendors as necessary.
  • Monitor the performance of the BI and ERP systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Stay current with BI and ERP system updates and industry best practices, making recommendations for enhancements or modifications to support the evolving needs of the business.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of BI & ERP system data, implementing appropriate controls and data backup procedures.
  • Manage and prioritize BI & ERP-related projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.
  • Support the development and implementation of additional software integrations and extensions as needed to enhance overall business functionality.

Qualifications include:

  • Degree in CS, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5+ years of work experience as a Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, or QlikView
  • Experience working with large scale ERPs (ideally NetSuite)
  • Strong understanding of ERP system architecture, functionality, and security
  • Experience with CI/CD, ETL, DataOps tools (e.g., Fivetran, DBT)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to independently drive projects and effectively manage multiple parallel work streams under tight deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with a keen attention to detail
