Job Description
This is a remote opportunity, although the selected candidate will be expected to reside in MN or WI and be able to travel to the St. Paul, MN location as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this opportunity is $119,787/annually to $179,649/annually, with a median salary of $149,718/annually. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just one component of the compensation package for employees. Primary Job Responsibilities
- Define and monitor SLA (Service Level Agreements) for all services rendered by the department
- Define high-level strategic and operational planning for departmental initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders to align technology with business and strategic goals.
- Translate strategy into an executable tactical plan.
- Provide strategic planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of various information, technology, and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and iterate project portfolio, including technology, analytics, process improvement, business technology, and strategies.
- Communicate complex portfolio sequences out institutional strategic initiatives crossing clinical, enterprise process, and technology needs.
- Collaborate with leadership and governance teams to maintain a roadmap for advancements and newly available technologies.
- Define and maintain technology and process improvement Key Performance Indicators.
- Support and guide team leads to ensure teams are focused on work that delivers value and positive results.
- Participate in other organizational governance and committees as needed.
- Accountable for departmental budget as well as technology and analytical needs organizationally.
- Collaborate and direct the enterprise systems department's goals, policies, and practices.
- Provide input and support to the teams and department to ensure compliance and adherence with regulatory authorities in all upgrades and implementations.
- Manages and negotiates with vendors and consultants as required.
- Ensure change control and management practices are utilized for all technical and project-related work.
- Resolve complex technical problems
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years experience in leading teams
- Experience with Electronic Health Record standards, tools, and team strategies.
- Demonstrated experience leading an enterprise change management effort
Preferred
- MBA, MHA, or MS in Computer Science, Technology Management, or related field
- Experience with Cerner Millennium
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Experience with healthcare billing and revenue cycle systems
- Experience with Microsoft 365

Gillette requires all staff to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 unless there is a Gillette-approved medical or religious exemption.
