Manager, Events – The Ringer

What you'll do:

• Maintains relationships with venues, vendors, internal and freelance staff.
• Works cross-functionally with Sales and Business Operations to confirm event sponsorship elements.
• Supports identification of appropriate venues in event markets.
• Collaborates with Video and Social teams on event staffing assignments and required outputs, including social announcements, sponsored social posts and metrics.
• Leads design and fulfillment of event signage and premiums, when necessary.
• Updates and distributes event production guides and schedules to appropriate parties.
• Works with Spotify Legal and Risk Management on venue contracts and required COIs.
• Collaborates on event recaps and report-outs with metrics and KPIs.
• Provides on-site event support, execution and management as needed. Travel required.

Who you are:

• 4+ years event management experience, preferably in sports/entertainment/media
• Experience leading teams
• Creative, resourceful problem-solver who communicates clearly and optimally, is organized, thorough and proactive
• Collaborative teammate who works well with others and embraces flexibility
• Passionate about community building, events and Ringer/Spotify Podcasts content
• Successful project management experience and ability to multitask, juggling multiple projects simultaneously
• Positive and professional representative of the company to internal and external stakeholders
