Eaton's Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Manager, Executive Communications & Channel Content to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Flexible hybrid work schedule available.
Position Overview:
The Manager, Executive and Channel Content, is responsible for providing comprehensive communications support to select Eaton leaders and functions, including Supply Chain, Public Affairs and Community Affairs, and provides strategic oversight of key internal and external communications channels.

In this function you will:
Partner with Executive Communications:
- Serve as lead communications counsel for key corporate functions, including Public Affairs, Supply Chain and Community Affairs; develops content for and execute comprehensive communications plans targeting all stakeholder audiences - employees, customers, suppliers, investors, the communities where Eaton operates - in support of functional and corporate aims.
Partner with Public Affairs:
- Coordinate with Eaton Teams and external partners to identify opportunities to elevate Eaton's image and reputation, drafts and deploys content directed at project end users (op-eds, speaking opportunities, etc.), manages our BIPAC website and creates an impactful content calendar for PA news.
Partner with Supply Chain:
- Help the team communicate effectively with suppliers and employees.
Partner with Community Affairs:
- Assisting the Community Affairs team to drive awareness of and engagement in projects like our annual awards for volunteerism, United Way activities, charitable giving and disaster relief efforts.
- Crafts compelling messaging and materials including presentations, media scripts, video scripts, blogs, speeches, media pitches, thought leadership pieces, social media posts and other content in support of Eaton leaders.
- Manages digital executive bio library and leadership and board pages on eaton.com.
Communication Channel Management:
- Provides strategic counsel and oversight of content for select Eaton internal channels and tactics, including key corporate newsletters, digital screens, intranet news site, Eaton's community Yammer channel and Office 365 tools.
- Develops and maintains content calendar for populating internal channels and amplifying impact of key messages; guide enterprise communicators in delivering content.
Additional
- Partner with digital communications team to evaluate impact of key executive and internal communications activities; collaborate with appropriate teams to recalibrate plans as needed.

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution.
- 5-7 years of experience required in a Journalism, Communications, Marketing Communications, Public Relations or related role.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
