Manager, Field Training

Duties:
Under the supervision of the Director, Field Operations, support the overall objectives of Joni and Friends’ U.S. Ministries (USM) department. Perform duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
 

1. Develop Training Programs
   
   1. Maintain a Lead Like Jesus culture throughout the training programs
   2. Assess and identify USM training needs for the purpose of fulfilling the biblical commission, vision, and mission of Joni and Friends
   3. Plan, design, and implement training programs for USM staff and Area Teams
   4. Provide engaging communication to encourage staff and volunteer participation in training programs so that Area Ministries can effectively implement the Reach, Care, Connect strategy
2. Create Training Content
   
   1. Coordinate with the Senior Leadership Team and Instructional Designer on training content and delivery methods
   2. Establish quality controls to ensure proper training content implementation
3. Build a Training Schedule
   
   1. Develop and coordinate a comprehensive USM training schedule for staff and Area Teams
   2. Ensure USM training schedule does not conflict with ministry-wide and department calendars and initiatives
4. Foster Integration
   
   1. Collaborate with The Center (Office of Leadership Development, Diversity & Belonging, interns, and online education) for integration and alignment
   2. Collaborate with other International Disability Center (IDC) departments as needed
5. Conduct Analysis
   
   1. Collect participant and staff feedback to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
   2. Use data analytics to determine training success and needs
6. Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor to support department and organizational needs.
