Job Description
Kasais building an efficient and effective finance team to ensure best-in-class financial reporting and guest satisfaction. You will be joining a team with diverse backgrounds in hospitality, real estate, and private equity. The team focuses on building scalable processes by being resourceful and having a growth mindset. This remote role will be part of a small team, allowing for significant upward mobility within a fast-growing organization.
- Oversee the financial planning and budgeting processes, collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate forecasting and alignment with company objectives.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning, to support strategic decision-making by the portfolio team.
- Lead month end close process for the properties in the assigned portfolio.
- Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Provide input to the ongoing development and execution of accounting policies, procedures, and operational strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering their growth, development, and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and efficient financial record-keeping, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the finance function and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide insights and recommendations to drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize resource allocation.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- 5+ years of proven experience in financial management, analysis, and planning, preferably within the hospitality, real estate, or related industries.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to provide actionable insights for senior management.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You've worked remotely at some point in your career
- You've worked in the hospitality industry at some point in your career
- You are proficient in Netsuite
- You are proficient in Google Workspace
- Set up a collaborative and accurate financial reporting flow and deliver on deadlines for all properties in your portfolio - including internal and external reporting.
- Worked with Sr. Director of Finance to increase controls and mitigate audit findings and deficiencies.
- Become a respected leader and thought partner for your portfolio Revenue Manager and General Manager, as well as the Finance and Accounting team.
- Understood the guest, property owner and operating team product challenges facing companies in the global accommodations space

π° The Pay: The starting base pay range for this role is between $X and $Y and is set based on multiple considerations including business needs, market demands, talent availability, experience, and unique skills and attributes. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity, bonus, perks, benefits, and Kasa Travel Credits.
