Manager - Finance
Job Description
Capita is the number one provider of business process outsourcing in the UK, we provide highly renowned services and solutions to a variety of sectors. As a result of further growth within our Group Sales division due to a number of key business wins and positive business development, we are now looking for an experienced financial modeller to come on board to provide a robust and accurate financial model throughout the bid process that incorporates all commercial pricing assumptions appropriately.
This role offers the opportunity to develop an extensive knowledge of Financial Modelling, whilst also developing client-facing skills, project management skills and consulting skills. The level of responsibility you will be given will only be limited by your own aptitude and willingness to learn and to take on new challenges.
The Role
• Full production of a financial model or business case (full P&L, balance sheet, cashflow, financial projections & supporting info & analysis) that incorporates all financial and commercial decisions / assumptions of the bid
• Data analysis and presentation
• Model risk assessment
• Commercial support and challenge on key assumptions and production of detailed, logical supporting to financial models
• Client liaison and submissions in line with the clients requirements
• Act as one of the key point of contacts for both the clients and Bid Team
Your background
You will be a qualified accountant with Advanced excel, VBA & financial modelling (i.e. at a minimum can produce and has experience of production and use of mathematical, financial, lookup and reference functions; can work with large amounts of data, format appropriately etc).
You will have experience of performing scenario & sensitivity analysis, produce integrated financial statements and dashboards as well as knowledge of working with accounting principles
