Manager, Finance Operations- Job ID: 1110

The Manager position is based in Princeton and reports directly to the Director, Finance Operations. This is a HYBRID role requiring part-time onsite in Princeton and part-time work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

Support various accounting operations in our US companies and complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes based on IFRS in timely fashion

Interact with Group reporting on technical accounting activities and ensure that group guidelines are followed

Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls and processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

Responsible for Accounting related functions including but not limited to account analysis and reconciliation, monthly P&L Controlling, monthly accrual entries as well as accurately tracking clinical trial activity completion overall to date and by site.

Works closely with Director of Finance Ops, FP&A colleagues, and business leaders in several areas including, but not limited to, cash management; new systems design and implementation; accounting reporting and regulatory compliance for the Company's anticipated future operations

Support GTN related activities such as backup to booking entries, reporting and working closely with GTN Lead

Responsible to develop and deliver training, as needed

Perform various Ad-hoc activities

Serves as a superuser in D365 finance module

Requirements

• 5-7 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study; MBA or CPA preferred
• Experience with IFRS with detailed understanding of accounting methods, reporting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and revenue recognition
• Strong analytical, proactive problem-solving skills, and collaboration skills critical to the role
• Play a key role in developing and implementing efficient processes that will scale with the company
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; extremely organized, detail-oriented, and mindful of deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues and solutions to all levels of management
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple functional areas in a collaborative, team environment
• Experience within Pharma/Biotech industry is preferred
• Experience with ERP and accounting system, preferably D365
• Ability to Travel up to 10% of the time domestically and internationally

• Salary range: $145-160K/year
