Manager - Finance, Streaming FP&A

Job Description

AMC Networks is seeking an experienced Finance thought leader to join our Networks & Streaming FP&A team. The Manager, Streaming FP&A, will support the Director of Networks & Streaming FP&A and work closely with several Finance and Business partners across all AMC Networks Business Units, including but not limited to Streaming, Ad Sales, Content Licensing, Marketing and Technology. The role will focus on monthly financial results analysis, rolling forecast reviews, long-range budgeting, operational and technology enhancements, and other ad hoc projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

A key member of Network & Streaming FP&A team, contributing to the execution of segment budgeting and forecasting; working closely with operational finance teams and business leaders to gather insights into business trends; consolidating inputs across the organization and developing informed perspectives on results and risks and opportunities as they relate to the goals and strategies of each streaming service.

• Consolidate and present the streaming portfolio and related variance analyses for financial cycles
• Support financial review processes with analysis and editorial storylines during the month-end and forecast reporting cycles for individual streaming service P&Ls

• Analyze changes to rolling forecasts and assess risk & opportunities to full year budget
• Partner with finance and business leaders to deliver critical financial and KPI plans
• Support the Annual Budgeting process and create presentation materials for senior leadership
• Assist in the creation and presentation of periodic reporting to business units across the organization
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to handle dashboards, monitor business performance, and provide insights

• Drive automation and enhancement of existing operational processes and reporting
• Support business decision-making through ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

• 3-5 years of Finance/Accounting-related experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence others
• Highly organized with effective time management skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an acute attention to detail
• Passion to learn and take on new challenges

• Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience working with Oracle and Essbase is a plus
• Experience working in entertainment / media industry is a plus

The base compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $110 000 commensurate with experience.
