Manager, Finance Systems

A Day in the Life:

We are seeking a Manager, Finance Systems to join our Business Transformation team. This hands-on role requires both technical and functional expertise, with a strong grasp of general accounting principles and their application within NetSuite ERP and other financial applications. This role will serve as the technical subject matter expert and support ongoing finance system implementations / enhancements.

The Impact You’ll Make:

Oversee and execute overall Finance systems strategy and roadmap as lead system administrator and developer for core financial systems, including:

• Owning the technical design, configuration, development, implementation, maintenance and support of AppLovin’s NetSuite environment and supporting business systems/tools (Floqast, Tipalti, Expensify, Shareworks, etc.)
• Proactively identifying and recommending system enhancements / new solutions that improve finance processes and increase automation
• Designing system integrations and collaborating with other team members to implement
• Collaborating closely with internal Finance customers across Accounting, FP&A and Operations to define and build technical solutions that meet business goals and align with key mandates, such as SOX compliance
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of system functionality, customization, and integrations; staying current with software capabilities, best practices, and upcoming releases
• Executing certain IT general controls in connection with SOX requirements
• Providing consultation and technical leadership in project planning; partnering closely with PMO and other Systems / Finance leads
• Responsible for Tier 1 / 2 support and overall maintenance across multiple financial systems, including upgrades and other critical support needs

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of work experience in developing system solutions for Finance, including system configuration, development, data security, and reporting
• 3+ years of experience with NetSuite's core processes, modules, customization, and reporting functionalities
• Excellent communication skills and effective time/project management abilities
• Ability to evaluate systems, processes, and workflows to develop plans for change, improvement, and/or integration
• Knowledge of software development cycle, version control, data structures, complexity analysis, unit test and integration tests
• Experience supporting Finance applications governed by SOX compliance
• Experience providing risk assessment for new functionality and enhancements, and identifying process improvement opportunities to drive innovation
• Experience advocating and proliferating best practices in reporting and analysis, including data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation

Total compensation at AppLovin is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, and other forms of incentive compensation (as applicable) may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to dental, vision, and other benefits.

$147,000 - $221,000 USD

USA Base Pay Range: all other States (excludes CA, NY, WA)

$117,000 - $175,000 USD
