Manager Financial Planning and Analysis

The Manager will be a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis function for SciPlay’s line of business.

The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables. The right individual will have strong leadership skills and solid business acumen capable of influencing partners while driving results and improving processes. They will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Serve as a key Financial Planning partner to the business; perform high impact analyses of business results, identifying trends, variances and potential opportunities 
• Lead team that develops and maintains the annual Budget and long range plan, including materials 
• Lead consolidation, analysis and interpretation of forecast monthly (including income statement, balance sheet and cash flows) 
• Manage the team that performs detailed analyses to identify, analyze, understand and monitor the Company’s key performance indicator 
• Communicate in a concise and timely manner the key findings to senior business leaders in monthly and ad hoc meetings 
• Lead the process of building accurate analytical models using a variety of data and assumptions
• Take control of and revise or drive production of associated reports and dashboards
• Actively participate in system enhancement projects that result in improved controls, reporting and analysis efficiencies 
• Participate in efforts to streamline processes and deliverables across the Finance & Accounting functions 
• Partner with the Accounting function to ensure alignment of forecast & budget with actuals 

Requirements

Education: 

• BA/BS in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related field of study. CPA or MBA Preferred 

Required Experience: 

• Minimum 8+ years’ experience in Finance or Financial Management.
• Management experience required

Preferred Experience: 

• Experience in a technology-focused and/or online business 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 

• Solid finance and accounting skills 
• Excellent analytical abilities including the ability to identify key trends, quantify analysis and recommend changes to meet objectives
• Strong interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of operations and senior management 
• Ability to meet multiple tight deadlines on a consistent basis 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills 
• Proficiency in Excel and Word 
• Experience with Oracle ERP and/or Hyperion systems preferred 
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills 
• Strong initiative with a proven ability to follow through on projects and bring them to a timely completion 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
• Adept at working collaboratively and cross-functionally
