Summary:

  • To provide functional process and local financial reporting system oversight in support of Clean Energy level financial reporting groups. Role ensures that the local consolidation ERP system meets financial reporting needs.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Global & Local MDG process for CE entities (new entities, change requests etc) for correct ownership and consolidation treatment
  • Lead the local BPC structure for correct ownership, consolidation treatment, and ensure monthly consolidation process runs effectively
  • Reconcile the local and global BPC environments to ensure alignment for standalone reporting
  • Build and maintain internal control processes in BPC local environment
  • Create reports to automate CE standalone reporting at various consolidation nodes and to facilitate monthly analytics

Experience and Required Skills:

  • Bachelors in Business Administration or Accounting. US GAAP CPA Certification a plus
  • 8-10 years of Finance and Accounting reporting experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills across all organization levels and cross-culturally
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking - curious using logic and reason
  • Self-motivated, strong organizational and planning skills
  • Initiative to learn new areas of Finance and/or IT to problem tackle
  • Ownership of delivering results
  • Able to identify process improvement needs and implement solutions leverage system tools
Desired Skills and Abilities

  • Skills for understanding accounting system design and consolidations logic
  • Strong excel skills (pivot tables, formulas and data manipulation)
  • Experience with excel models (macros) a plus
  • Data visualization experience a plus

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $120.000 and $144.500/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
