MANAGER - FINANCIAL RETIREMENT CONSULTING CENTER

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager for our newly established Retirement Consulting Center (RCC). This role entails leading and organizing our sales associate team, monitoring their activities and performance, ensuring sales goals are met, setting individual sales targets, and providing continuous training to the sales associates.

The core objectives of the RCC are:

· Expanding client access to our full suite of retirement solutions

· Enhancing our clients' experience and improving client retention

· Growing retirement accounts and assets under management

· Engaging in active customer outreach

As the RCC Manager with Horace Mann, you can look forward to:

· Leading a team of FINRA Licensed Financial Retirement Sales Associates, tasked with delivering Horace Mann retirement products and services to our existing and prospective clients

· Earning between $90,000 - $105,000 with a performance-based compensation package that includes a base salary, an incentive program (bonus and uncapped commissions), and a comprehensive benefits package

· Accessing a niche K-12 educator market with a more desirable and appealing risk profile than traditional markets

· Serving the loyal and financially responsible educators within this sizable and growing market

Your responsibilities will include:

· Providing ongoing training and coaching to the sales associates

· Setting performance expectations and ensuring that team sales and activity goals are met

· Managing functions crucial to team productivity, including planning, reporting, goal setting, sales process optimization, sales training, and sales program implementation

· Identifying new opportunities for growth within current and potential markets

The Retirement Consulting Center will be based at BCG Securities Home Office in Cherry Hill, NJ.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Highly motivated

· FINRA Series 6 or 7, 63/65 or 66 licensed

· Life Insurance licensed

· At least 3 years of management experience

· Proven track record in a sales manager role or similar

· Previous sales experience

· Ability to effectively lead and supervise a team

· Ability to provide clear direction to the team and ensure compliance

· Exceptional leadership abilities and team building skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Outstanding organizational and leadership skills

· Problem-solving ability with a strategic approach

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
