Outbrain is looking for an administrator for our finance systems - mainly NetSuite and related interfaces. This position will provide ongoing support to the finance function and will liaise with the IT function for needed changes and alterations. 


A Day in the life:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for NetSuite and other finance systems support, providing internal ongoing support to the accounting/finance team and coordination with the IT team.
  • Support the financial close reporting cycle by managing initiatives to minimize disruption and unintended impacts of system configuration changes.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies in our global accounting/finance organization
  • Ensure business and functional requirements are properly configured in NetSuite and interfacing with other systems.
  • Maintain proper system access for all roles and ensure effective internal controls associated with the system are maintained, including SOX compliance by documenting system configuration and security changes.
  • Works closely with IT/MIS (responsible for developing, testing and implementing customizations, net functionality and applications) to deliver scalable business solutions to internal stakeholders based on evolving business needs. 
  • Manage finance information systems projects and related task prioritization. 
  • Manage implementation of NetSuite releases for ongoing upgrades to the system, including conducting and managing user acceptance testing
  • Support end-user requests for new system searches/reports, KPIs and dashboards.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves advanced user issues as they arise and include proper, timely documentation through Outbrain’s ticketing process.
  • Manages application data connections and participate as a technical resource in 3rd party integrations, including but not limited to Salesforce, SuccessFactors, Zuora, Tipalti, Coupa, and Floqast
  • Thoroughly documents work/procedures for reference, troubleshooting, and future iteration to ensure quality of data and protocols for changes, customization, and standards. 
  • Identifies risks/constraints and communicate/escalates issues appropriately.
  • Support internal and external audits while ensuring data integrity and timeliness.


What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., IT/MIS, computer science)
  • 5+ years of ERP and other finance systems administration experience
  • Experience at a public company under SOX compliance requirements
  • Experience processing multiple currencies.
  • System implementation and system integration experience
  • Working knowledge of financial accounting concepts
  • Strong understanding of business processes with an emphasis on financial systems management and process improvement 
  • Ability to communicate with all levels including management and external parties.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle changing circumstances and reprioritize when necessary.
  • Detail-oriented, curious, self-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environment. 


Preferred qualifications:

  • 3+ years supporting an organization with 500+ employees
  • Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive highly preferred, Floqast a plus 
  • Experience implementing automation.
  • Detailed understanding of common industry standard business practices related to finance systems.
  • Project management experience

The annual base pay range for this position is $120,000-$140,000.00. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to salary, you may be eligible for an equity package, as well as our competitive benefits and perks to support you and your family as part of Outbrain's total rewards package.
