Manager, FP&A

Who we are

• The North American FP&A team (~13 professionals) has the vision of “Becoming the go to team for developing and leading the NA strategies while supporting key initiatives throughout the organization with data insights, Analysis and thought partnership”

• 2022 team priorities include;

  • Hit the numbers - maintain a clear line of sight to performance trends and impact to forecast

  • Forecast visibility and accuracy - est. KPIs, analyze performance against and identify decisive actions, contingency plan for downside 

  • Drive direct and indirect productivity and profitability improvements

  • Build the team, talent and culture we need to deliver the vision and achieve goals, defining our reorged team/culture/goals

What you will do

• In this role you will take ownership of subscription revenue modeling and business unit budgeting

• You will support, approve and analyze pricing and promotion decisions

• You will be responsible for preparing and distributing weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports, and work closely with our Data Science team to ensure data quality

• You will analyze and provide insights to the business and working closely with accounting to ensure accuracy during month end close (including cash flow models)

• Success in the first 12 - 18 months involves gaining a deep understanding of the Weight Watchers business model, building strong relationships with the team, increasing accuracy of revenue models, standardizing Canadian and US revenue models, etc.

Who you are

• BS/BA Degree and track record of strong academic performance, with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience

• Strong Excel capabilities

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Adept at working under pressure and within short time constraints

• Independent and proactive work style with inquisitive demeanor

• Superior communications (both written and verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills
