The Finance team is dedicated to financial reporting and enabling budget execution & optimization to deliver growth and efficiencies across the company. This role will report to the Head of FP&A, and manage and develop two senior FP&A analysts.

A day in the life of a Manager of FP&A at Calendly

As Manager will provide strategic partnership and support to various functions across the organization, engaging directly with senior leadership to provide insights. You will develop, grow, and support meaningful relationships with a wide variety of business partners to help them with their quarterly and annual budget planning, monthly budget analysis, ad-hoc modeling, and to support their respective expense management and headcount needs.

On a typical day, you will be working on:
  • Partner with key business partners/executive leaders in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, and Success on quarterly and annual budgets planning, monthly budget analysis, ad-hoc modeling, as well as supporting their respective expense management and headcount needs
  • Work closely with entire FP&A team to provide budget variance reconciliations, and track key operational and financial metrics
  • Advise on business planning assumptions, trade-offs and scenarios to support strategic decisions within the business
  • Assist in the transformation activities of the broader Finance department to improve system automation and operational processes
  • Support technology improvement efforts (ERP and Adaptive planning)
  • Initiate and implement process improvements that enable collaboration, productivity and visibility between FP&A and key business partners
  • Develop the best team through coaching, training & development, and career planning
What do we need from you?
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related fields
  • 6+ years progressive work experience in FP&A in a high growth environment
  • Experience in leading FP&A teams through recurring planning operations
  • Sophisticated Excel experience; proficiency in G-Suite tools. Experience with Netsuite and Adaptive Insights is a plus.
  • Experience working with a diverse set of business partners with a strong customer service orientation and ability to influence key functional leaders
  • Critical math and analytic skills and a proven ability to execute complicated models to support business decision making
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
  • Highly motivated, self-aware, collaborative, and responsive
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
