Manager, Global Digital Site Operations (Hybrid)

***This is a hybrid role based three days a week on-site in Hoffman Estates, IL***

The Manager, Global Digital Site Operations is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our online platforms. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, Global Digital Site Operations, you will oversee various aspects of digital operations to enhance efficiency, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvement.

The Manager, Global Digital Site Operations will be responsible for delivering Operational Excellence Globally for all Claire’s web properties Everyday. Key areas of responsibility include: Promotional Setup & Execution, Site Speed, Content Management & Optimization (Homepage & Landing Pages), Daily Data Jobs, SEO, just to name a few.

Main Responsibilities 

Lead day to day Site Operations focused on delivering Operational Excellence Everyday!

• Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy, functionality, and usability of the e-commerce platform across various devices and browsers.
• Own day-to-day site maintenance: Batch Jobs, Processes, Content Changes, Promotional Setup & Execution, Content Management, Eventually Personalization etc.
• Identify Customer Experience opportunities & enhancement with front end E-commerce operations. Key Area’s of Focus Include
• - Site Speed & Performance
• - SEO
• - Content Management
• - Homepage/Landing Page Production & Optimization
• Lead Collaboration with our Marketing Designers & Developers for optimal performance and The Best Customer Experience. Key focus on reducing friction!
• Partner with Digi Merchandising to create the best possible experiences every day.
• Influence & at times Lead, Omni-channel projects from end to end, including site upgrades, new capabilities, new integrations, etc.
• Serve as the primary business owner of our New Content Management System Launching Fall 2024
• Future: Multi-Variant Testing & Optimization
• Technology Integration and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, e-commerce trends, and industry best practices. Evaluate and implement new tools, systems, and features to enhance digital operations and drive business growth.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices related to e-commerce operations, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
• Cross-functional Curious Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, merchandising, IT, and finance, to align digital operations with broader business objectives and initiatives.
• Misc duties as needed to support Operational Excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Operations, or related field
• 6+ years’ experience in ecommerce
• Passion for the customer, Curiosity & Ownership
• Experience across both front end and back end operations with deep expertise in front end operations
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience and knowledge of SEO to ensure product copy meets current SEO requirements
• Exceptional skills in MS Excel required, strong skills in databases preferred
• Enjoy thinking outside of the box when faced with challenging situations
• Have a keen interest in retail and fashion and are already familiar with online websites
