What you will do:

We're looking for a dynamic, communications leader who can roll up his or her sleeves to work directly with regional communications and commercial team and colleagues around the world.

As the leader of global social media efforts you will work with regional communications leaders, our individual brand teams and commercial sales leaders around the world to develop engaging content for employees and customers to advance business objectives and deliver measurable results. This is a new role, so you will have an opportunity to establish a vision for the company's social media strategy and engagement efforts.

How you will do it:

• Building a framework to aggregate and prioritize content from a highly decentralized, global organization.

• Supporting key business priorities that include accelerating sales of industry-leading products and supporting employee-focused organizational transformation.

• Developing strategies and content to engage with communities and stakeholders who live in the communities that host our manufacturing and recycling operations.

• Establishing relationships with key Clarios leaders to build out their social presence and thought-leadership platforms.

• Working directly with media relations team members (agency and internal) to enhance integration and effectiveness.

• Enhancing Clarios' efforts to engage with stakeholders around our commitment to sustainability.

• Rolling up your sleeves to produce and create content.

What we look for:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree

• 8+ years of experience in Communications or Marketing

• 5+ years of experience with proven success developing and executing Corporate Brand Communications or Marketing strategies

• 3+ years of team leadership, people management, agency or other supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field; advanced degree a plus

• Demonstrated success in operating in a large, complex, global organization

• Experience and a record of building strong relationships, trust, and confidence with prominent influencers and stakeholders - both internal and external

• Ability to multi-task multiple projects in different states of completion, delivering them on time and within budget

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to travel up to 10%, if needed.
