As a Manager, Global Supply Chain Analytics (GSC) you will be responsible for leading operational analytics/reporting. The position will own accountability for solving sophisticated problems and identifying insights by analyzing large data sets at Fort Worth, TX.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Leverage SAP BW and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive capabilities
• Become a strategic partner and partner with S&OP, MTO, and Finance teams to deliver accurate and value-adding insights
• Assist team in developing and rolling out industry-leading statistical models, tools, and systems that enhance and advance business processes and decision-making
• Identify and implement the industry's best metrics/dashboards applying Tableau (SAP/AWS). This involves modeling and scenario planning to build models for inventory optimization, capacity planning, network modeling, and warehouse/distribution.
• Serve as point of contact for successful publication of all Tableau dashboards and day-to-day operational support, as well as resolve any issues or answer any queries related to data/methodology
• Identify industry-wide practices/key metrics and identify any Alcon unique requirements to develop and deploy Tableau dashboards. Collaborate with global, regional, and market S&OP teams to design, create use case scenarios, and validate dashboards.
• Assist with the rollout of agile methodologies and implementation of Jira for Alcon GSC Analytics
• Demonstrate team leadership and be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and directly supervising junior associates to ensure deliverables are being met on time
• Lead discussions on analytics capabilities and collaborate with the Planning Excellence team to identify potential new critical metrics and data extraction/transformation needs

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs.; Assoc.+9 yrs.; M.S.+2 yrs.; PhD +0 yrs.)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience
• Work hours: M-F (exempt)
• Travel Requirements: Minimal to Bangalore
• Relocation assistance & Sponsorship: Not Available

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics, or Statistics preferred
• Ability to handle multiple projects at a time, coordinate and work with multiple business units as well as lead a Global team
• Experience with data visualization/analytical tools like Python, R, Amazon Web Services (AWS), SAP, Alteryx, and Tableau required
• Experience supply chain experience preferred ideally within the healthcare industry
• Experience in Agile methodology is required and experience with Jira preferred
