Grubhub is looking for an innately curious, deeply analytical, and highly driven Manager to lead our Digital Marketing Channel Analytics team. The Analytics team sits within the Growth - Diner Acquisition team and provides insights to help determine and drive optimal marketing channel investment and optimizations. In this role, you will be mainly focused on our Search channels, both paid and organic, digging into performance trends, uncovering opportunities and insights, and partnering with marketing, analytics, and product teams to drive our Search channel strategy. This role reports to the Director of Growth Marketing and works closely with senior leaders across departments.
The Impact You Will Make
  • Leverage large, potentially messy data sets to derive insights and recommendations which business and product leaders can leverage to capitalize on key areas of opportunity
  • Design & execute well-crafted experiments in paid and organic search channels that enable well reasoned & analytically sound decisions to be made quickly and at scale
  • Deeply understand key business metrics, becoming accountable for tracking and analysis of performance indicators
  • Create a short and long term strategy and roadmap for Search marketing channels with internal marketing and product partners and execute on it
  • Partner with product & engineering leadership and external vendors to develop internal data, measurement, attribution, & analysis capabilities
  • Develop & disseminate comprehensive recommendations to key internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Manage team of analysts to answer key business questions

What You Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor's degree required in a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in a strategic/analytical role
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • SQL and Tableau expertise
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical skills with an ability to dive deep, summarize, and clearly connect data to insights and action
  • Highly organized, communicative, and able to prioritize and work to tight deadlines
  • Strong people management skills
  • Experience with Paid Search, SEO preferred
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google and Microsoft Ads, and mobile measurement tools (such as AppsFlyer) preferred
