Job Description

Manager, HCM Operations

  • Manage all activities as it relates to the HCM system. This includes base configuration, reporting, workflow administration, and core HR/Payroll functionality.
  • Serve as the key HCM contact with HR, Payroll, and Montefiore IT. Overall liaison between HR/Payroll/Finance/BIS/MIT management as well as provides overall support for any HCM system needs.
  • Overall responsibility for the Success Factors Platform application and the integration of the Success Factors Recruitment Management, LMS, and Onboarding solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work in the HR department to oversee the organization's HCM activities including Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, HR Security Authorization, and reporting functionality.
  • Maintains internal HCM application, table configuration, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff.
  • Manage HCM System support team and serve as escalation point for unresolved/escalated issues
  • Functions as the Project Manager for all HCM upgrades and projects.
  • Provide technical leadership for HCM issues. Make recommendations for future HR application needs. Leads the implementation of new HCM modules as required. Perform basic support functions to ensure system enhancements are implemented properly, efficiently, timely and with the highest quality.
  • Oversee/Work on Merger and Acquisition activities including data management and integration into current HCM applications and processes.
  • Lead Annual HCM Security Role Audit to ensure all HCM user have appropriate access; work with Security team to resolve any issues
  • Serve as point of contact to coordinate all HCM system testing which includes Year-end Upgrade, Workflow form enhancements, SuccessFactors Upgrades, and Special Projects
  • Manages workflow administration and ensures organizational changes are reflected accordingly

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Human Resources Management, Computer science or related field or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of direct work experience with HCM (HR Personnel Administration, Payroll, and Organization Management) including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Highly organized with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Persuasive, encouraging and motivating
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines within a fast-paced environment; ability to work on multiple projects at a time
