PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Manager, HR (Associate Experience Network) Communications plays an integral role in supporting Rich's Associate Experience strategies, driven by " The Moments That Matter ". The Manager, HR (AEN) Communications is accountable for developing and executing internal communication strategies that effectively market and advance our associates awareness and understanding of key HR strategies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES• Develop & execute communication strategies and content introducing associates to Human Resources-related products and solutions; working in partnership with external agency partner(s), various internal project teams and the company's broader Corporate Communication function to ensure continuity in communications and messaging. • Works closely with HR (AEN) stakeholders to research, write, and review content for different audiences and channels.• Serve as the Communication Business Partner to the HR (AEN) function, the direct point of contact to provide counsel and support for department's communication needs.• Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to align the HR(AEN) communications approach and strategy to the broader company roadmap.• Prioritize building cross-functional relationships and establishing foundations of trust as a business partner.• Leverage experience in change management to help shepherd HR/AEN-driven organizational and operational change through clear communication.• Build and execute the strategy and plan to drive deeper understanding and awareness of assigned HR strategies. • Develop and oversee the execution of communication calendar identifying communication tactics that connect current and future associate products, programs, and solutions; driving improved associate understanding of many ways Rich's is positively affecting their experience. • Assess Rich's internal and external platforms (corporate website, intranet, careers site, New Associate Experience Hub, etc.) for "Moments That Matter" branding and messaging; execute effort to bring assigned HR strategies alive on these vehicles. • Manage external agency who will support our MTM efforts.• Leverage the company's Voice of Associate listening platform to measure effectiveness and inform future messaging and communication opportunities. • Work collaboratively with 1 -2 assigned resources in a matrixed relationship; providing direction, guidance, and feedback on assigned projects.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related field. • 7-10 years of communications experience in roles of increasing responsibility with a proven track record of success, preferably in corporate communications, internal communications (in either a corporate or agency setting), or marketing. • Exceptional writing and editing skills; effectively communicate with and relate to all levels of the organization in a highly authentic and empathetic manner.• Ability to lead projects involving cross-functional subject matter experts and senior leadership.• Must be deadline and detail-oriented while simultaneously being flexible and able to meet unpredictable needs, with the ability to create structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.• Broad knowledge of internal/employee communications best practices; passionate about enhancing the effectiveness of associate communications.• Experience with end-to-end content development (strategy, planning, research, writing, editing, distribution, measurement/analysis).• Strong understanding of the Human Resources function and the general products, services and solutions it provides to an organization.• Creative thinker who applies new approaches to their craft. • Results oriented, solid quantitative skills to perform post- communication program analysis and incorporate learnings into future planning.• Self-directed strategic thinker capable of collaborating with and influencing a range of stakeholders.• Capacity to absorb complex and technical details and distill into digestible, employee-facing communications.• Exceptional organizational and project management skills; strong execution, high level of accuracy and efficiency, attention to detail, and follow-through.• Maintains confidentially of associate information. • Role model for the Rich Promise values.• Eager to build a meaningful long-term career with Rich's.
