The Role

The Manager, HR Operations role is to support the HR agenda for the company by supporting and maintaining the organization's HRIS data, applications and modules. The primary objective of this role is to oversee and maintain optimal function of the HRIS, which may include ownership of the employee offboarding, onboarding and immigration processes, installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include data input, installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Responsible for the employee onboarding and offboarding processes in partnership with the HR team. This will include the associated immigration processes that come with employee transfers and visa applications.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Collaborates with HR leadership and the HR team to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
  • Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
  • Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior leadership and the HR team.
  • Serves as representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Performs other duties as required.


Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience of numerous annual HR process cycles and a thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding and hands on experience of the Workday ERP platform.
  • Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
  • A preference for a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • Understanding or interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain industry
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills required
  • High EQ and IQ, but low ego. Must be a team player.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and independent
  • Quick to learn and resourceful in approaching new challenges or subject knowledge
  • Able to quickly identify and resolve problems
  • Able to keep information confidential
